Job Description: Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Requirements: Participation in an on-call rotation is required Some overtime may be necessary based on workload Occasional overnight travel may be required to support Branch territory coverage Possibility of travel to support other locations with PG field workload as needed A current valid license is required for this role This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical 3 years driving experience This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit Basic level field service work experience Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience Customer service experience Benefits: Sign-on bonus Relocation Competitive pay and benefits 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Cash Balance Pension Plan Medical/Dental/Life Insurance Health Savings Account Domestic Partners Coverage A full complement of personal and professional benefits
