<em><strong>Roustabout</strong> <br><br></em><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Primary Duties / Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li> Maintain all deck equipment as directed by the Crane Operator. </li><li> Participate and contribute to the following activities:</li><ul><li> (a) Safety meetings </li><li> (b) Training sessions </li><li> (c) Outside schools </li><li> (d) Safety drills and inspections </li></ul><li> Must represent the Company in a professional manner both on and off the job to include confidentiality of Company and client business. </li><li> Recognize and communicate all unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor. </li><li> Work within the Company's safety policy and procedures at all times. </li><li> Maintain good working relationship with Supervisor and other members of rig. </li><li> Complete other duties and/or projects as required and assigned by management. <br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><em> Education / Training: <br><br></em>High School Diploma.<br><br><strong>Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li> Successfully pass National Institute of Drug Abuse and Department of Transportation drug screen, or equivalent if non-U.S. hiring location. </li><li> Successfully demonstrate physical ability to perform essential job functions. </li><li> Must successfully pass pre-placement physical examination. </li><li> Must meet company age requirement as per Helix Policy Manual. </li><li> Must be able to perform job functions safely. </li><li> Must be able to comply with Company rules. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Special Requirements<br><br></strong>Additional requirements as contained in the Qualifications and Training Matrix appropriate to each vessel.<br><br><em> Helix Energy Solutions Group is an equal opportunity employer.</em>
