Role Description

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient onboarding from referral through therapy start, ensuring a timely and seamless experience.

Verify insurance coverage and clearly communicate financial responsibility to patients with empathy and clarity.

Identify, secure, and manage financial assistance and copay support to reduce access barriers.

Maintain accurate and complete patient records across all stages of care.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure care plans are executed effectively.

Serve as a trusted point of contact for providers, payers, and referral sources.

Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members.

Help uphold and enhance policies and procedures.

Address and resolve patient or partner concerns promptly.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in healthcare, customer service, contact center, or related field

Strong communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Commitment to teamwork and patient experience

Experience in pharmacy, home health, or home infusion (Preferred)

Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification (Preferred)

Experience supporting financial assistance programs (Preferred)

Prior mentoring experience (Preferred)
Requirements
-
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 20 - 30 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
