EY is a global leader in consulting and technology services, and they are seeking a Senior Zscaler Engineer to enhance their cybersecurity solutions. In this role, you will oversee the implementation and optimization of Zscaler security solutions, ensuring the security and performance of network infrastructure while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect our network infrastructure
Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services
Conduct regular security assessments and audits of network environments
Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure secure deployment and management of network resources
Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches involving Zscaler solutions
Implement and manage security policies and configurations within the Zscaler platform
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on Zscaler security best practices
Keep current with Zscaler security trends, threats, and technologies
Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
Minimum of [3] years of experience in network security or a related role
Strong knowledge of Zscaler security solutions and their features
Experience with network security tools and technologies
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
Strong understanding of network security, identity and access management, and encryption
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
Professional certifications in Zscaler, such as Zscaler for Users - Essentials
Familiarity with additional cloud security technologies and tools, beyond Zscaler, such as CSPM, Data Protection, Ai, etc
Knowledge of cloud-based security solutions and experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
In-depth knowledge of Zscaler architecture, deployment, and configuration
Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and configuration management
