Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Siemens Advanta executive for a major multinational account and a priority industry vertical — including Life Sciences/Pharma, Power & Utilities/Energy, Aerospace & Defense, Semiconductor, or Automotive
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders — the CIO, CDO, COO, and board-level leaders making transformation decisions worth hundreds of millions of dollars
  • Serve as the senior Siemens executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring coordinated engagement across local, regional, and global structures
  • Synchronize with Siemens Key Account Managers to elevate conversations to the enterprise level, helping clients navigate the full breadth of the Siemens ecosystem
  • Lead vertical go-to-market strategy — translating sector trends, customer priorities, and Siemens capabilities into a scalable commercial agenda for Siemens Advanta NAM
  • Develop and execute a tailored account and vertical growth strategy that creates new logos and deepens existing relationships in equal measure
  • Represent Siemens externally as an industry leader, bringing market insight, customer perspective, and strategic relevance to vertical growth efforts and account strategy
  • Maintain executive discipline across forecasting, account planning, risk management, and pricing to convert complex opportunities into long-term, profitable growth
  • Sell professional and managed services at scale — structuring multi-year, outcome-based engagements and managing delivery accountability across complex organizations. You understand that in this business, the sale doesn't end at signature
  • Shape integrated transformation opportunities to leverage the full breadth of Siemens — including Digital Industries, Smart Infrastructure, Advanta, and the Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem
  • Lead complex pursuits and strategic dealmaking across geographies, functions, and stakeholders — from early shaping through negotiation and closure
  • Partner with solution, delivery, and specialty teams to develop compelling executive narratives, differentiated proposals, and transformation roadmaps for senior customer decision-makers
  • Orchestrate complex internal and external ecosystems — aligning business units, delivery teams, and strategic partners to accelerate execution, value realization, and customer impact. You've done this before and have a specific example of how you made it work
  • Mobilize partner capabilities to support faster scaling, repeatable solutions, and improved customer transformation experiences across the vertical
  • Elevate customer conversations to the enterprise level, helping clients navigate complexity, prioritize transformation initiatives, and unlock measurable business value

  • 10+ years of experience owning large, multinational accounts and/or leading a market vertical with measurable commercial outcomes
  • 10+ years of experience in orchestrating multi-party ecosystems — aligning internal business units, external partners, and delivery organizations around a shared customer outcome
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50–70%
  • Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, Information Systems, or a related technical or scientific field
  • Executive presence and the ability to operate credibly at the VP and C-suite level — inside Siemens and in front of customers

  • Experience in additional priority verticals: Aerospace & Defense, Semiconductor, or Automotive
  • Experience developing and executing multi-geography pursuit strategies in matrixed organizations
  • Background at a management consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, Capgemini), industrial technology company, or systems integrator — where selling services and delivering outcomes were inseparable
